HOLY CROSS TIE INTERMEDIATE BASEBALL FINALS

Holy Cross and Shamrocks are tied at one game each in St John’s Intermediate baseball final series. It took 12 innings as Cross edged Shamrocks 4-3 Sunday to tie the series.

 

 

S A T U R D A Y 

OMT Shamrocks win the opening game of the best of seven St. John’s Intermediate Baseball finals with a close 2-1 win over Holy Cross.

Shamrocks plated the game winning run in the bottom of the sixth.

 

Ben Murphy goes the distance to get the win on a four hitter. He walked four and fanned seven.

 

Evan Reid also goes the distance in taking the loss. He was tagged for just three hits walked one and struck out four.

 

Reid was also the game’s top batter with a two for four performance.
