The OMT Shamrocks are now one win away from their 23rd St. John’s senior baseball championship.
Shamrocks scored twice in the third inning and added three in the fifth for a 5-2 victory over Roebothan McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings . They take a three games to none lead in the best of seven affair.
Scott Goosney tossed the win on a seven hitter. He did not issue a walk and fanned five
Dan Connors takes the loss. He allowed ten hits walked two and struckout three.
Andrew Symonds of the winners and Blair Connolly of the losers had two hits each.
Game four set for Tuesday night.

OMT Shamrocks are now two wins away from their 23rd St Johns senior baseball league championship.
Greg Barry tossed a three hitter, walked two and fanned five in picking up the win as Shamrocks downed Roebothan McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings 9-1. Matt Murphy came in relief for one inning and closed out the win.
Scott Hynes goes four and a third innings and is touched p for ten hits and nine runs. Keith Spurrell came in relief.
Veteran Brent Power had a game at the plate with a four for four performance with two singles two doubles and two runs batted in. Dave Penney homered for the Shamrocks.
