Roebothan, McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings are off to the St. John’s senior baseball best of seven final series against Shamrocks.
The Vikings beat Knights 12-9 Sunday to win the best of five semi final series three games to one.
Veteran Southpaw Karl DeHart in relief of starter David Lahey gets the win. He pitched three and a third innings allowing three hits and fanning two. Lahey went three and two third innings and allowed seven runs on six hits and he walked a pair.
Brandon Jackson who came on in relied of starting pitcher A J Whiffen gets tagged with the loss. He went five and a third innings and allowed seven runs on nine hits. Whiffen went one inning and gave up five earned runs. Colin Hunt also saw mound duty.
