The Corner Brook Royals claimed the West Coast Senior Hockey League championship and the Cliff Gorman Memorial Trophy Friday night.
The Royals defeated the Stephenville Jets 10-4 at the Dome in Stephenville.
Daniel Whittle led the Royals with three goals and Johnny Jones and Tommy Ryan added two goals each. Nick Childs, Ryan MacMackin, and Andrew Stagg had singles. Tim Caines scored twice for the Jets and Jordan Bennett and Mark McGuire had the other Jets goals .
The Royals were up 2-nothing after the first period and held a 4-3 lead going to the third.
