GAME TWO
The CeeBee Stars have evened the best of five Herder Memorial Trophy final at a game apiece with Clarenville Caribous. Matthew Thomey’s goal late in the third period from Colin Feehan and Danbiel Cadigan proved to be the winner as the CeeBee Stars win 2-1. John Snow also scored in the third for the CeeBee Stars to tie the game at 1-1. Mason Reid gave the Caribous a 1-nothing lead in the second period.
GAME 1
The Clarenville Caribous defeated the Conception Bay CeeBee Stars 4-2 in the opening game of the best of five final series. . Mason Reid, Ryan Derosiers , Stewart McCrae and Brandon Roche scored the Caribous goals. Shane Boland and Jeremy Nicholas had the goals for the CeeBee Stars.
The CeeBee’s last championship came in 2013 while the Caribous last won the Herder in 2012 .
