The Central West Senior Hockey League handed out its awards for the past season on Saturday night.
Collin Circelli of the first place Cataracts was named the league’s most valuable player.
In 18 games he played with the Cataracts the native of Oshawa Ontario scored eight goals and added 15 assists for 23 points.
Cataracts goaltender Bryan Gillis a native of Halifax was named the league’s top goaltender for the past season.
Gillis appeared in 14 games for the Cataracts this season. He has ten wins two losses and one overtime loss in the campaign. He allowed 36 goals in the 14 games and had a 2.65 goals against average.
And Tom Coolen also of Halifax the team’s coach was named the coach of the year in the Central west loop. The Cataracts finished first in the three team league with 13 wins two losses and and three overtime losses for 29 points. They also earned a berth in the league final.
