The Clarenville Caribous evened the best of seven Central West senior hockey final at a game apiece with a 4-3 win over the Cataracts Sunday. Keith Delaney scored twice for the Caribous and Dustin Russell and Ryan Delaney added singles. Stephen Simms, Andrew Gill and Rodi Short replied for the Cataracts. The series will resume Friday in Clarfenville.

The Cataracts take game one of the Central West Senior Hockey League best of seven final series. The Cataracts skate to a 3-nothing win over Clarenville Caribous.
Danny Wicks gave the Cataracts a 1-nothing lead and that goal proved to be the game winner. Collin Circelli had two goals in the game one which was into an empty net .
The same teams meet in game two Sunday afternoon at Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium.
