The Southern Shore Breakers have forced a seventh and deciding game in their semi final series with Northeast Eagles in Avalon East senior hockey semi finals.
Game six in this series went into double overtime before Daniel Dalton connected with the winner to give the Breakers the 3-2 victory over the Eagles.
Jeremy Nicholas and Ste[hen Oates tallied in regular time for the Shore.
Sean Wadden’s goal in the third period forced the game into overtime for the Eagles. Bryan Clarke had the other goal for the Eagles.
Game seven will be played Friday night at the Jack Byrne Arena.

The Conception Bay CeeBee Stars will be in this years Avalon East Senior Hockey League best of seven final series.
The CeeBee Stars went to overtime against the St. John’s Caps in game five of the best of seven affair and came away with a 5-4 victory.
It was Brent Shute’s second goal of the game in the extra session that sent the CeeBee Stars to the final series.
Daniel Sparkes also tallied twice for the winners and Andrew Fenwick added a single.
Ryan Walsh, Robert Barrett, Mike Druken and Jeremy Barron scored for Caps markers.
The CeeBee Stars will now await the winner of the Northeast Eagles Southern Shore Breakers series. The Eagles have a three games to two lead and can wrap things up Sunday night with the sixth game in Mobile at seven.

The Northeast Eagles are one win away from a berth in the Avalon East Senior Hockey League best of seven final series.
Down 1-nothing after close to six minutes of play in the game the Eagles responded with seven unanswered goals to beat Southern Shore Breakers at the Jack Byrne Arena. That win gives the Eagles a 3-2 lead in the best of seven affair with game six Sunday night at the Mobile Arena.
Sean Wadden and Chris Sparkes tallied twice each for the winners. Andrew White, Liam Myers and Andrew Smith added singles.
Jeremy Nicholas had the lone Breakers goal.
Mark Yetman made 38 saves in nets for the Eagles and Ben Goss had 40 saves for the Breakers.
