The Cataracts picked up their fifth win of the season Sunday beating the Gander Flyers 2-1 in a shootout.

Rodi Short gets the winner in the shootout. The Cats led 1-nothing after two periods on Michael Cole’s first goal of the season. Tyler Carroll, with his second goal of the season tied the game at one all in the third period forcing overtime and eventually a shootout.

 

S A T U R D A Y 

The Cataracts remain undefeated in Central West Senior Hockey as they shutout the Gander Flyers 5-nothing Saturday night.

Jason Stone gets his first win and shutout of the season in nets for the Cataracts.

The Cataracts opened up a 2-nothing lead after the first and added three in the second with the third period scoreless.

Andre Gill, Sam Hounsell, Stephen Simms, Kyle McGuirk and Brandon Bussey shared in the Cataracts scoring.

These teams play Sunday in Grand Falls Windsor.
