The Gander Flyers started the Central West senior hockey season on a winning night. They came from behind and edged the defending Herder champs 7-6 in a shootout. Riley Craft gets the winner in the shootout.
Six players shared in the Gander scoring in this game during regulation time. Tyler Carroll, Jordan Escott, Brandon Hynes, Mike Dyke, Paul Hutchings, and Brandon Nicholas.
Andrew Brennan scored twice for the Cataracts. The singles came from Danny Wicks, Travis Randell, Brandon Bussey and and Brian Gillis.
