The game was scoreless heading to the top of the seventh inning. Craig Hammond reached on an error to start the inning, Hammond advanced to second base on a pass ball and With 1-Out: Mike Gregory singled to score Hammond with the game’s only run.

Pittman gets the win. He gave up eight hits and recorded 13 strikeouts.
