Holy Cross 10 Gonzaga 1
Kevin Cashin tossed a two hitter and fanned four in four innings pitched and Holy Cross defeated Gonzaga 10-1 in Intermediate baseball play Wednesday night. Vinny Grace came in relied and gave up one run and didnt allow a hit.
Elliott Phillips started and take the loss. He gave up nine runs in three and two thirds innnings of pitching. Noah Wilsoin came in relief and finished ip and allowed one run.
Phillip Edwards of the winners was the top batter in this game with a perfect three for three performance.
In a second game Feildians shutout Shamrocks 6-0.
Doug Clark goes the distance getting the win. Josh Fifield who came on in relief of starter Jaxon Gulliver gets the loss. Zack Fitzpatrick also saw mound duty.
Dylan MacKenzie of the Shamrocks goes three for four while John Cooper went two for three for the losers.
