Softball Canada has named its 2016 National Junior Men’s softball team and a Newfoundland has made that team.
Mitchell Stack of Petty Harbour was one of 17 players named to the Canadian team.
Stack is a member of the Rob Roy Intermediate Men’s Fast pitch Team in the Molson St. John’s Intermediate Men’s Fastpitch League. He is also a member of The Dance Academy Dodgers Senior Men’s Fast pitch Team in the Molson St. John’s Senior Men’s Fastpitch League.
He was also a member of the U18 Newfoundland Labrador Selects Men’s Fastpitch Team that recently participated in the 2015 U18 Men’s Canadian Fastpitch Championship in Fredericton, NB. Stack was named to the All-Star Team (SS) at the 2015 U18 Men’s Canadian Fastpitch Championship.
