The Northeast Eagles have tied the Avalon East Senior Hockey League best of seven final series at two games apiece with St. John’s Caps. The Eagles Monday night defeated the Caps 5-3 at the Goulds Arena.
Five players shared in the scoring for the Eagles– Chris Thorne, Sean Wadden, Mitch Bragg, Andrew White and Liam Myers.
Jeremy Barron, Robert Barrett and Cody Squires scored for the Caps.
The Caps won the opening game of the series 4-3 and took game two 4-1. The Eagles won game three 5-4 in overtime.
Game five is set for Friday night at 8 at the Jack Byrne Arena.
