The Clarenville Caribous get an overtime goal from Ryan Derosiers and edge Corner Brook Royals 4-3 and keep their playoff run alive. The Royals lead the series three games to two. Chad Earle, Kevin Reid and Cody McNamara were the other Caribous goal scorers. Matthew Thomey, Scott Doody and Brandon Hynes replied for the Royals.
The Cataracts are now just one win from a berth in the finals of the Central West Senior hockey loop as they defeat the Gander Flyers 5-2 Sunday. The Cats were up 2-1 after the first and 3-2 after two.
Cam Fergus scored twice for the Cataracts with singles from LKuke Gallant, Steve Yetman and Danny Wicks. Josh Day and Mitch Oake were the Flyers marksmen.

The Corner Brook Royals are one win away from moving on to the Central West senior hockey final series.
The Royals grabbed a three games to one series lead over the Clarenville Caribous with a 5-4 win over the Clarenville Caribous.
Brandon Hynes, Ryan Penney, Matt Thomey, Steven Simms and Justin Pender slam home the Royals goals in this game.
Ryan Dersoriers scored three times for the Bous and Kevin Reid added the other goal.
Brett Shute connects in overtime and the Gander Flyers edge the Grand Falls Widsor Cataracts 4-3 to remain alive in that best of seven west central semi-final.
The Cats still hold a two games to one lead with game four Sunday in Gander at 1:30.
Andrew Ryan, Ray Dalton and Jordan Escott rounded out the Flyers scoring. Steve Yetman, Cam Fergus and Alex Dalley replied for the Cataracts.

Jordan Kennedy scored in overtime lifting the Corner Brook Royals to a 3-2 victory over Clarenville Caribous in action Friday in Clarenville. That win gives the Royals a two games to one lead in the best of seven semi-final series.
Ryan Penney and Ryan Salvis had the other Corner Brook goals in the second period.
Kevin Reid and Brad Crann had the Clarenville goals.
