S A T U R D A Y 

 

Chad Nehring notched a pair of goals as the Hartford Wolf Pack defeated the St. John’s IceCaps 4-1

.

Charles Hudon (from Gabriel Dumont) scored the lone goal for the IceCaps early in the third period.

 

St. John’s will take a short break for the AHL All Star Classic, where rookie forward Michael McCarron, and defenseman Morgan Ellis will represent the IceCaps in the Eastern Conference.

The Ice Caps lost their second straight game to the Portland Pirates Friday night falling 4-2. Bud Holloway coming back from an injury had the first Ice Caps goal. mark MacMillan had the other goal.

Eddie Pasquale was in goal for the Ice Caps and made 31 saves from the 35 shots fired his way.
