Gander defeat  Corner Brook 5-1 for their third consecutive win and moves them into second place tie in the league standings. Arron Asham had two goals with Brett Shute, Mitch Oke  and Ray Dalton having singles. Michael Hynes had the Royals marker.

In Clarenville the Cataracts defeat Clarenville 5-3 to increase their first place lead. .  Luke Gallant, Andre Gill, Mike Sibley, Michaerl Yetman and Cam Fergus account for the Cats goals. Chad Earle, Ryan Derosiers and Stewart McRae had the Caribous markers.

BUSSEY SHORTThe Cataracts have increased their first place lead in the Central West Senior Hockey League thanks to a 9-4 win over the Clarenville Caribous Saturday night in Clarenville.

Rodi Short and Brandon Bussey had two goals apiece for the Cataracts. Mike Sibley, Luke Gallant, Steve Yetman, Cam Fergus and Andre Gill had singles.

 

 

Ryan Derosiers had a pair of goals for the Bous. Chad Earle and Andrew Sweetland added singles.

ASHAMThe Gander Flyers moved to within one point of third place Corner Brook Royals with a 4-3 win at home Saturday.

Arron Asham had two goals for Gander with terry Ryan and Steven Brazil with singles. Scott Doody scored for Corner Brook on a penalty shot with Mike Hynes and Ryan Watson with the other goals.
