SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Kellys Pub Molson Bulldogs are the provincial senior men’s fast pitch softball championship.
Sean Cleary struckout 12 batters and Kellys Pub downed the Bigs 10-6. Mark Mullins went three for four for the winners.
Cleary was also named the tournament’s MVP. He had a 3-0 record and in 20 innings pitched recorded 38 strikeouts.

The playoff round is set for the 2015 provincial fast pitch softball championships.
The semi-final has fourth place Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs meet at 10:00 AM.
At 12:00 PM, third place NTV Hitman meet The Bigs.
The final is set for 2:00 PM at Lions Park.

Dance Academy Dodgers used home run power to beat NTV Hitmen 11-7 as the provincial fast pitch softball championships opened Friday. Kyle Ezekiel belted two-two run homers, Ryan Kirk a two run blast and Eddie Hefernan a solo shot. Jason Hill pitches the win and John O’Rielley takes the loss. He also hit two home runs both two run shots.

‎In second game the Bigs downed Kelly’s Pub Jr Canadians 11-3. Johnny Doyle pitches the win on a two hitter and 11 strikeouts. Craig Edmunds hit a three run homer and Joey Maynard a three run blast.

Nick Pittman takes the loss. Brandon Pomeroy hit a two run homer for the losers.
