Dance Academy Dodgers used home run power to beat NTV Hitmen 11-7 as the provincial fast pitch softball championships opened Friday. Kyle Ezekiel belted two-two run homers, Ryan Kirk a two run blast and Eddie Hefernan a solo shot. Jason Hill pitches the win and John O’Rielley takes the loss. He also hit two home runs both two run shots.
In second game the Bigs downed Kelly’s Pub Jr Canadians 11-3. Johnny Doyle pitches the win on a two hitter and 11 strikeouts. Craig Edmunds hit a three run homer and Joey Maynard a three run blast.
Nick Pittman takes the loss. Brandon Pomeroy hit a two run homer for the losers.
