The Gander Flyers in the Central West Senior Hockey League have signed three players.
Mitch Oake who played with Clarenville was obtained in a trade with the Caribous. The Flyers also have signed defenseman Nick Theriault He has played with the Cataracts and CeeBee Stars
And the Flyers also have signed former St Johns Fog Devils forward Wes Welcher. The Paradise Native has also played Collegiate hockey with St Thomas Tommies.
This is the last weekend of Central West Hockey before the Christmas season. The Gander Flyers with their new players host Clarenville and Corner Brook will be at home to the Cataracts. The games are set for Saturday and Sunday.
