The St. John’s Ice Caps finished their six game road trip on a winning note Saturday. They were down 3-nothing to the Hershey Bears and win in a shootout.
It was Daniel Carr’s goal 17:04 of the third period that forced the game into overtime. The extra session settled nothing.
Gabriel Dumont scored what was the game winning goal in the fourth round of the shootout.
Brett Lernout and Morgan Ellis had the other goals for the Ice Caps.
