HOCKEY PUCK

St. John’s Maple Leafs and Central Icepak played the first game Saturday of a two game weekend series.

 

The St. John’s Maple Leafs defeated the Central Icepak 4-3 in overtime.

The IcePak held a 3-nothing lead after 1st, and were ahead 3-2 after two. The Leafs scored in the third period to force the game into extra time.

Cody Langmead had two goals and Kyle McGrath a single in regulation time.

Lucas Osmond the winner in overtime.

Ryan Ricketts, Phillip Pardy and Brent Broders scored for the IcePak

MacKenzie Janes was in goal for the Leafs and Chris Barrett between the pipes for the Ice Pak.

The two teams will meet again noon Sunday.
