LEAFS PRIVATEERS SPLIT

The St. John’s Privateers get a split of their weekend series with the St. John’s Maple Leafs with a 4-2 win at the goulds Arena.

Brad Connors connected for two goals for the Privateers with single markers from Matt O’Leary and Max French.

Tyler Power had both goals for the Leafs.

Joel Abbott gets the win in nets as he makes 29 stops.

 

 

S A T U R D A Y 

The battle of the St. John’s Major Midget Hockey teams started on Saturday with the St. John’s Maple Leafs edging the St. John’s Privateers 3-2 in the first meeting of these teams.

LANGMEAD Cody Langmead was the offensive leader with the Maple Leafs scoring two goals. Cameron Sullivans goal turned out to be the winning Maple Leafs goal.

Jack Keough and Adam Nolan replied for the Privateers.

Same teams meet Sunday at ten o clock at Goulds Arena.
