Softball player Jon Kelly of the Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs has had an MVP season in the St. John’s Senior Men’s Fast Pitch Softball League.
Kelly this past season has lead the league in four offensive categories and tied in another.
First of all Kelly claimed the league batting title. He had 3o hits in 68 at bats for a batting average of .441.
He had the best slugging percentage of .897. He had 23 runs batted in which was also tops in the league and he tied with Kyle Ezekiel for home runs with six. He also had a league tops 13 doubles.
