Aces have advanced to the finals of the Corner Brook senior baseball setup.

The Aces scored six runs in the sixth inning and go on to a 7-1 win over Marlins and take the best of five series in straight games.

 

They now await the winner of the Monarchs Hawks series which the Monarchs lead two games to one.
Steve Hynes goes the distance and gets the win. He gave up just five hits, walked two and fanned nine.
Travis Taylor takes the loss. He also went the distance. He was touched for seven runs on 11 hits. He issued five free passes and struck out eight.

Brian Bennett, Steve Kelly and Glen Seaborn all had two hits apiece for the winners.
