I GOT TO TOUCH A GROWLERS CHAMPIONSHIP RING

I have a replica ring of the Newfoundland Growlers ECHL championship from last season. However, this past weekend I had a chance to hold the real ring.

The ring belongs to the most famous Growler–Buddy the Puffin. Sure he never played a game but he is a major reason people especially children come to a hockey game to see the Puffin.

It also goes to show what this class organization thinks about the team mascot. They had a special ring made for the Team Mascot. 

Yes Buddy isn’t a player but again just look at what the organization thinks of him honouring him with a championship ring.
