CLANCEY INDUCTED INTO ECHL HALL OF FAME

St. John’s native Derek Clancey is now a member of the East Coast Hockey League Hall of Fame. He played his final season in the ECHL in 98-99 and has been a coach with the team and moved on to the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins where he has won two Stanley Cups.

He joins Darren Colbourne of Corner Brook in the hall as Colbourne was inducted in 2015.
