Clarenville Caribous defeated the Conception Bay CeeBee Stars 8-3 Saturday night in Clarenville.
Chris Sparkes and Ken Mahoney had three goals each for Clarenville and Kevin Reid added the other two markers.
Brett Shute, Brandon Carlson and Ryan Dawson replied for the CeeBee Stars.

Two very exciting games in East Coast Senior Hockey League Friday night. Both games ended in identical 5-4 wins and one had to be decided in a shootout.
The St. John’s Caps edged Northeast Eagles 5-4 in the game decided by a shootout.
Kyle McGrath had two goals in regulation time and also potted a goal in the shootout, Roger Pender and Colin O’Neill had the other goals for the Caps in regulation time, Jordan Escott had the other goal in the shootout for the Caps.
Tyler Walsh, Tyler Bennett, Cody Barron and Liam Myers had the goals for Northeast.

The Conception Bay CeeBee Stars got two goals from Bradley Budden including the winner at 5:39 of the third period as they beat the CB Blues 5-4. Marl Barrett. Brian Greeley and Matthew Thomey had the other CeeBee Stars goals.
Lucas Lush, Brandon Street, Like Peddle and Chris King replied for the Blues.
