After losing to Worcester on Friday night the Growlers rebounded for a 5-2 win over Maine Mariners in Maine to finish up this road trip. 

Brady Ferguson had two goals Marcus Power, Trey Bradley and Dylan Vander Esch added singles. Bradley had the game winner at 14:43 of the third period. 

Angus Redmond between the pipes for the Growlers made 28 saves.

The Growlers play Reading  Tuesday at Mile One .

The Newfoundland Growlers fell 6-4 to the Worcester Railers the last place team in their division  Friday evening in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The Growlers and Railers traded goals in the first period, Dante Salituro scored for the Railers and Riley Woods made good on a breakaway chance to tie the game at one heading into the second period.

Just 30 seconds into the second period, Colt Conrad gave the Growlers their first lead of the game after beating Railers goalie Evan Buitenhuis over the glove. Jordan Samuels-Thomas responded for the Railers, Shorthanded, after tipping a shot behind Growlers goalie Maksim Zhukov who was making his third-straight start in goal for the dogs. Evan Neugold added a goal to give the Growlers a 3-2 advantage before the Railers put two quick shots behind Zhukov. The teams exited the period with the Railers leading 4-3.

Worcester held the lead in the third while adding goals from Ross Olsson and Dante Salituro, who completed the hat trick to secure a 6-4 victory for the Railers. Justin Brazeau registered the late-game goal for the Growers.
