HOCKEY CANADA TO DECIDE ECSHL FUTURE

Hockey Canada is to rule on whether the East Coast Senior Hockey League can operate this season with five teams. Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador has said the league, seeing they refused Conception CeeBee Stars to enter the league this season.  The decision by HNL was appealed to Hockey Canada by the East Coast League and now its a wait and see attitude. If Hockey Canada allows the league to proceed there will be five teams competing  Conception Bay Blues, Southern Shore Breakers, St. John’s Caps, Northeast Eagles and Clarenville Caribous.
