A Newfoundlander has been named to the Canadian women’s baseball team that will be at the worlds in Mexico August 18th to 25th.
Heather Healey of Paradise has been named to the squad for the third time. She has play internationally with Canada in 2014 and 2016.
She is listed as a pitcher with the squad.
