The Cataracts are off to the 2019 Herder Memorial Trophy best of seven final.
The Cataracts downed Gander Flyers 3-1 Saturday to win the best of seven series four games to two.
Three players shared in the scoring, Michael Cole, Sammy Hounsell and Danny Wicks. Jordan Escott replied for the Flyers.
The Cataracts await the winner of the East Coast final between Southern Shore Breakers and Clarenville Caribous. Game one of that series will be played Sunday.

The Gander Flyers remain alive in the best of seven Central Senior Hockey final series.
The Flyers skate to a 4-3 win over the Cataracts in game five of that series which the Cats lead three games to two.
Brandon Hynes had two goals for the Flyers with Ryan Delaney and Andrew Ryan adding singles.
Andrew Gill, Brandon Bussey and Michael Cole replied for the Cats.
They play again Saturday night in Gander
