WCSHL FINAL SERIES TIED AT TWO GAMES EACH

S A T U R D A Y

 

The west coast senior hockey best of seven final series is now tied at two games apiece.

 

The trend continues as the visiting team continues to win games in their series. The Mariners have won both games in Corner Brook and the Royals both in Port aux Basques.

 

The Corner Brook Royals downed the Port aux Basques Mariners 6-2 to tie the series up.

 

Tyler Hunt had a pair of goals for the Royals. Lucas Wiseman, Andrew Stagg, Iain Pilgram and Scott Delaney had the other Royals goals.

 

Luke Parsons and Drew Nedon had the goals for the Mariners.

 

Game Five will be played Friday in Corner Brook.

 

F R I D A Y

The Port aux Basques Mariners have taken a two games to one lead in the best of seven West Coast Senior Hockey League final.

 

The Mariners downed the Corner Brook Royals 6-4 and have won both their games on Royals home ice.

 

Jasper Dicks had two goals for the Mariners.

 

David Budgell scored twice for the Royals.

 

Game four will be played Saturday night at 7:30 at the Bruce Arena.
