Softball Canada has announced the list of seventeen (17) athletes from the Men’s National Team Athlete Pool who have been named to the 2019 WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship roster. The event will take place in Prague/Havlickuv Brod, Czech Republic from June 13-23, 2019.
There are seven Newfoundland players named to the team. Ryan Boland, Shane Boland, Sean Cleary, Brad Ezekiel, Kyle Ezekiel, Jason Hill and Stephen Mullaley
Team Canada won bronze at the previous WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship held in Whitehorse in 2017. A Men’s National Team Development Camp was held earlier his year.
