SWEENEY LEADS SR BASEBALL BATTING RACE

Ryan Sweeney of Gonzaga Vikings is leading the individual batting race in the St. John’s senior baseball league.

Sweeney has 13 hits in 27 at bats for a .481 batting average. 

Dave Parsons of Holy Cross is second with a.467 average. He has 14 higs in 30 ag bats.

Third place in the batting belongs to Brent Power of Storm. He has 15 hits in 41 at bats for a .429 abetting average.

Three players are tied for the most runs batted in. Parker Gulliver of Shamrocks, Tyler Hennessey of Storm and Matt Parsons of Gonzaga all have 14 RBI’s so far this season.

Dylan MacKenzie of the Shamrocks has stolen the most bases this season so far and that is 15 

Gerald Butt of Gonzaga is a distant second with eight steals.

In the pitching Department Scott Gppsney of the Shamrocks is undefeated in five starts this season. Daniel Toope of Storm is second with four wins and two losses.
