WOMEN’S GAME
Despite outscoring UNB 28-17 in the fourth quarter it just wasn’t enough as the UNB squad get a weekend split with an 80-75 win over the Sea Hawks. Haille Nickerson was the top MUN scorer with 21 points and Jane Baird added 12 and Alana Short 11.

MEN’S GAME
It was a see saw battle back and forth and went to overtime but MUN fall 107-101 to UNB Sunday.. Nathan Barker led MUN with 25 points and Jason Thompson added 19.

Memorial Sea Hawks won their opening game of the 2019 -2020 AUS women’s basketball competition with a 67-49 win on home court at the Field House Saturday night over UNB Red Devils.
Haille Nickerson led the Memorial offensive attack with 13 points Sammi Deakin-Sharpe backed her with 12 points. Jane Baird added nine.
These teams play again Sunday at the Field House.
