GOOD NEWS RUGBY CAN BE PLAYED

According to a post by Rugby Newfoundland the sport will now be allowed to proceed with games. The statement from Rugby NL says

Rugby Canada has approved the Newfoundland and Labrador Rugby Union’s Return to Play plan. Therefore, effective immediately, the suspension of rugby activities in Newfoundland and Labrador that was put into place on March 13, 2020, is lifted

The NLRU is currently accepting Return to Play plans from their clubs; clubs are not permitted to run any rugby sessions without their RTP approved by the NLRU. We want to thank everyone for their patience as we navigated these different times together.

The safety and well-being of all of our members have been at the forefront of our discussions and decisions throughout this process. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the pitch.
