DEER LAKE WIN 8TH OF SEASON

S A T U R D A Y 

Deer Lake Red Wings went to Port aux Basques Saturday night and blasted the Mariners 9-1.

Ryan Penney and Drew Langdon scored a pair of goals each for the winners. Luke Parsons, Mason Campbell, Lucas McKay, Morgan Thorne and Alex Tulk added singles.

MIke Rose had the lone Mariners goal.

The first place Red Wings scored twice in the first added three in the second and four in the third. The Mariners goal came in the second period.

F R I D A Y

The Corner Brook Royals handed the Deer Lake Red Wings only their second loss of the season with an 8-6 win on Friday night in Deer Lake.

Alex Hillier and Matt Colbourne had two goals apiece for the winners. Single markers were added by William Keating, Jody Kelly, Lucas Fabijanic and Ryan Roche. 

Luke Parsons and Lucas McKay had two goals each for the Red Wings with singles contributed by Ryan Penney and Brett Urquhart.

Saturday night Deer Lake play in Port aux Basques.
