ST. JOHN’S, NL – A record setting 52 points by Armanie Channey wasn’t enough to stop the KW Titans from defeating his Newfoundland Rogues 128-115 on Friday, May 10, 2024 in St John’s. The Titans sweep the Rogues 3-0 in the Rogues third season in St John’s and first season in the Basketball Super League.

It was a heartbreaking evening of basketball for the Newfoundland Rogues. Their inaugural BSL season finished with a loss to the KW Titans on Friday by a score of 128-115.

Otherwise, it was a team effort for the Titans. Curtis Hollis had 40 points and 9 rebounds, and the team got a lot of strong performances. A 57-36 rebounding advantage didn’t hurt the Titans.

It was a tremendous first season for the Rogues in the BSL. Now, their fans will have to wait until next year to make their way to the Mary Brown’s Centre. Go Rogues!
