NHL SCOUTS SAY MERCER IN TOP 20

The NHL Scouting Bureau has announced the ranking of players for next year’s NHL draft.

The December list shows Bay Roberts Native Dawson Mercer is ranked 16th. He plays with the Drummondville Voltiguers in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The Scouting Bureau says Mercer drives play with a lasting engine. They say he is not afraid to hound pucks and is deadly in transition.
