EDGE NAME ASSISTANT COACHES

The St. John’s Edge have named  Jeff Morrison and Glen Sooley Assistant Coaches for the 2019-2020 season.

 

Jeff Morrison, a Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island native joins the Edge after spending the last two season with the Island Storm and the 2014-2016 seasons with the Maine Red Claws.  

Morrison and Head Coach Steve Marcus worked together during the 2014-2016 seasons with the Maine Red Claws.  

 

Morrison on his new role with the Edge; “I am excited for the opportunity to help the St. John’s Edge in our quest to win an NBLC Championship. I cannot wait to get started.”

 

Glen Sooley, a Mount Pearl,native returns to the Edge for his third season. Sooley, who has coached for over 20 seasons in the province has represented Newfoundland both as a player and a coach at the national level. 

 

 

Sooley on his new role with the Edge; “I am very pleased to be a part of the Edge again this season.  As a native Newfoundlander heavily involved in the local basketball committee, I see every day the positive impact the Edge have had on the youth in Newfoundland.”
