CURTIS WINS LADIES CURLING TITLE

Stacie Curtis and her rink of Erin Porter, Julie Devereaux, Carrie Vautor and fifth Eric Trickett will represent Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

 

Curtis defeated Heather Strong 7-1 in the championship game Sunday. Curtis scored a big four in the ninth to put this game away.

S A T U R D A Y 

Stacie Curtis and Heather Strong will clash at one o clock Sunday to decide who will be Newfoundland and Labrador’s representative at the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

 

Curtis won her semi final contest and has to beat Strong twice in order to claim her title.

 

In the first game of the final Curtis scored three in the first and added three in the fourth and two in the fifth for a five end 8-1 victory over Strong.
