JUNIOR HOCKEY NAMES TOP PLAYERS FOR NOVEMBER

The St. John’s Junior Hockey League has named its Sportscraft forward, defenseman and goaltender for the month of November. 

Luke Akerman of the C-B-N Stars has been named the forward of the month. In nine games during the month he has accumulated 21 points from ten goals and 11 assists. He helped his team to a 6-2 record for the month.

 

 

The Top defenseman for the month is playing with the Mount Pearl Blades. In the month of November James O’Brien had five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in his team’s eight games. The Blades also had a 6-2 win loss record in the month.

The top goaltender for the month is also from Mount Pearl Blades. Andrew D’Entremont played in four games which he backstopped the Blades wins in all games. He has a goal against average for the month  0.286. He faced 99 shots and allowed just one goal for a save percentage of .990.
