3 CHEERS PUB DODGERS 6–KELLYS PUB MOLSON BULLDOGS 5

Three Cheers Pub Dodgers are the winners of the 2020 John Gorman Memorial Softball Tournament.

The Dodgers edged Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs 6-5 in the championship game at Lions Park.  Colin Walsh gets the win and Sean Cleary despite recording 14 strikeouts takes the loss. Kyle Ezekiel hit a home run for the winners.

SEMI-FINAL

3 CHEERS PUB DODGERS 9–NTV HITMEN 5

In the semi final game the 3 Cheers Pub Dodgers downed NTV Hitmen 9-5 to advance to the final. Colin Walsh gets the win and Robbie Greene is tagged with the loss.

Kyle Ezekiel went two for four for the winners and Logan Power three for four which included a home run.

Tournament Award Winners

The award winners for the John Gorman Memorial Tournament.

Kyle Ezekiel of the championship 3 Cheers Pub Dodges was named most valuable player. He went five for 15 at the plate for a .333 batting average with five runs scoffed three home runs and 10 runs batted in.

The top batter for the tournament was Ezekiel’s teammate Jason Hill who went eight for 16 for a .500 batting average.

The sportsmanship and ability award went to Jon Kelly of Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs who has had a 500 batting average and two home runs and four rbi
