ITS TIME FOR CITIZENS TO HELP SAVE GROWLERS

It’s now time for citizens to voice their concern over the possibility of St. John’s losing the East Coast Hockey League Newfoundland Growlers.

People have asked me “ What can we do”. Its very very simple.

If you have the time Monday go to City Council meeting at 4:30 and meet with Councillors to tell them you want the hockey team to stay at Mile One.

Second get on the phone call the radio call shows and express your displeasure with the team possibly leaving. 

Also phone each Councillor at City Hall and tell them you are not at all pleased with the possibility of this team moving. Now be calm and polite but get the message across.

Remember it’s the fans who pay for this team NOT the City. To win a hockey championship and then be forced out is NOT good enough. We have to save this team.
