It appears there will be senior hockey in Central Newfoundland starting in the New Year.

The Grand Falls Windsor Cataracts and the Gander Flyers have apparently reached an agreement to play hockey starting in January.

It’s indicated that the season which will be 12 games will start in January.

Sources say negotiations are underway with an as of yet unnamed third team to play with the Cats and Flyers.
