Growlers finish home series with 2 wins and 4 losses.

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Newfoundland Growlers finish up their 6 game home stand on Sunday with a loss to the Trois Riverier Lions 5-4 in overtime on a goal by Mathieu Brodeur assisted by Alexis D’aoust. The Growlers did out shoot the Lion 42-37. Growlers lost 4 of 6 games in this round against the Lions and the Reading Royals.

Daniel Cadigan, of Outer Cover, NL, a local senior hockey defenceman and RNC officer, made his pro debut for the shorthanded Newfoundland Growlers Saturday night in St. John’s,

Dan Cadigan on Saturday night against the Trois Riviere Lions.

With three games against the Trois Riviere Lions and three against the Reading Royals there were mixed results for the Growler’s six home games and their first in the Mary Brown’s Centre this season.
