FRIEND OF BASEBALL PASSES AWAY

1 min read

He was the young man who was the scorekeeper at St. Pat’s Ball Park for many years.

Tyler Pittman was the kid behind the results that were sent to various media night after night.

He was that type of person that when you met him you were impressed and knew you had a friend for life. And man he loved baseball. He knew the players and well. He enjoyed what he did night after night year after year.

Ty had that smile and attitude that brightened your day every time you saw him. When I umpired a game and was leaving to go home Ill never forget what he said when I said see you tomorrow.  His response BEST KIND. When he send a text message he would finish it with BK.

Now at the young age of 30 Tyler has left us but he left a memory in all of us at St. Pats who knew and worked with this very fine young man. RIP T– till we meet again.
