ESTEPHAN SCORES TWICE IN GROWLERS WIN

It was a night of celebration at Mile One on Friday night. The 2018-19 Kelly Cup champions the Newfoundland Growlers received their championship rings. And the Growlers capped the night off with a 5-2 win over the Brampton Beast before 5024 fans at Mile One.

Giorgio Estephan scored twice for the Growlers who were up 2-1 after 20 minutes.

Brady Feruson, Colt Conrad, and Scott Pooley added singles.

Maksim Zhukov made 21 saves in getting the win between the pipes.

Game two between these two teams goes Saturday night at Mile One and ends a five game home stand for the Growlers.
