The St John’s Edge are now 5-2 on the Canadian Basketball season thanks to a 105-91 win over Niagara River Lions on Saturday night at Mile One.
It was the Carl English Charles Hinkle show for the fans at Mile One. English continued his torrid scoring with a 33 point performance which included 8 three pointers.
Hinkle hit for 27 points in the game backing up English.
The Edge are in first place in the Central Division.

A steal late in the game by Rashaun Broadus and he scored the layup as the St John’s Edge eek out a 105-103 win over the Niagara River Lions . It was the home opener for the Edge who now move to 4-2 on the season and the Lions suffer their first loss of the season.
Carl English hammered home 22 points for the Edge. Teammates Charles Hinkle and Grandy Glaze added 17 each.
Same teams go at it at Mile One Saturday night.
