The St. John’s Edge had what seemed to be a comfortable 15 point lead at one point against Island Storm but had to settle for a three point win 109-106 over the Storm at Mile One on Carl English retirement day. The game also saw probably the largest crowd at a basketball game with 5475 fans attending.

Karrington Ward led the edge with 26 points and Canie Broome added 19 and Tyrone Watson 18. Edge led 54-53 at the half .

The next home game for the Edge won’t be until March 24th as they will be on the road until then.
